The round diamond is set in its very distinctive carved band, boxy but slender enough to wear comfortably.
The relief carving extend to all visible surfaces of the ring (except the underside), where the pattern is deep and not superficially cast.
The 1.5ct diamond is truly a perfect size that is proportionate to its rectilinear band, tallest at 3.2mm. At this carat weight, the slightly thicker band carries the solitaire to its best, manifesting the roundness of the brilliant diamond deeply.
The two tapered diamonds do not look lost, as in these three-stone level settings, but add to quiet of a subtly unique solitaire ring.
This SI1 diamond is very white with no visible inclusions (eye clean), which makes this diamond a great value for its size.
