This is a modern day pendant crafted in the spirit of Straits Chinese jewellery of this region.
The pendant holds its diamonds in a true cluster. Minimal space in its setting gives the pendant a compact, neat arrangement pleasing to the eye.
The pendant is not flat. It is built like a miniature ornament in your hand, with the middle of the pendant highest, sloping down to the sides.
This style is a very classic tribute, to the more ‘royal’ jewellery pieces of Victorian and Edwardian lineage. It is hard to find a well-tuned antique style in this size today.
