Description
53mm natural jadeite jade bangle, ‘7’.
The bangle is oval and flat. The rim is 6.6mm wide and 4.2mm thick.
This is our second wave of jade bangles curated on GG. The theme is faint jadeite jade.
This bangle has a faint color of melon, some parts whiter and some parts melon, but translucent throughout and almost uniform.
This type of bangle, cut deliberately thin and flat to have light passing through everywhere, is certainly semi-transparent.
The beauty of this type of jade is its delicate cut, which is very fitting for its petite bangle size. It is hard to get this constitution in a bigger form, which is why you almost never find it cut in larger sizes.
This bangle will of course suit someone after a jade bangle that is very unlike a jade bangle, or how jade bangles are perceived ie. round and clunky. This bangle is the lightest of our bangles (this is not a minus), and likely lighter than most jade bangles you’ll encounter.
