The jade is a translucent green, a hue between light to apple green jade.
This shade of green is hard to find in a modern jade ring, since its hue is likely to be set in white gold.
This traditional jade cabochon ring has intricately carved shoulders, the work light and supple.
Antique jade rings from the 19th and early 20th centuries are set in 24k or 22k, the gold work superb.
