The natural Sri Lankan sapphires are best described as ‘ink-washed’, slicked with the faintest color, transparent like water.
These small sapphires express their hues as a whole and not as individual stones, since as loose stones they look identical.
Yet their arrangement, pane by pane, projects each color to the eye in relation to others.
The ring achieves its brilliance by its suggestion of something poised, not immediately obvious, and without the use of diamonds.
The name of its being goes beyond its id to a longing.
Like writing onto scroll, ‘The Window’ is carved through the gold, not laser engraved, knowledge to its keeper.

These uncommon sapphires weigh 7.1ctw and are a custom precision cut.
Due to the baguette cut’s fewer facets it is possible these sapphires paint a clearer picture than diamonds.
