Fine pendant and earrings set with Colombian emeralds and diamonds in 18k.
The emerald cabochons are bright and a great color.
This cabochon set has generously sized diamonds, big compared to the emeralds, but not unusual since cabochons are domed (ie. all the weight is visible).
The bigger halo balances the plush cabochons very well.
The emeralds are intense green, quite like ‘imperial’ jadeite, except with natural jardin inclusions that do not affect the display of the stones.
This is a vintage set, likely to be older, poised with a considered proportion of stones from its ‘antique’ form and subtle prongs.
The pendant is 20mm tall and the studs 12mm, a traditional bigger pendant to earrings proportion.
The emeralds weigh 7ctw; diamonds weigh 3.4ctw.
