Vintage Wide Gold Bracelet

Traditional Straits Chinese vintage gold bracelet set in 22k.

This is a mid-century piece, of the same genealogy as the lace-like bracelets differing in the number of rows.

This ten-row bracelet is certainly uncommon, seeing the excitement we had over the seven-row bracelet.

These bracelets look intricate because of their repetitive ball-and-link component formations, each component is linked to the other by hand.

This one is 5cm tall, the widest we have offered for sale.

This piece is also distinguished by having ball charms of a bigger width, ten baubles of 6mm each.

These ‘lace’ golden bracelets were and are sought after for being in-between bracelets and bangles. They have the stature of a bangle or cuff but the flow of a bracelet.

This particular motif is quite like Etruscan jewelry, the gold work simulates bead-work to in turn look like ’embroidered’ tapestry.
