53mm Burmese Jade Bangle Type A "9"
Small Type A Burmese green jadeite jade bangle, measuring 53mm (internal diameter).
The jadeite is a ‘celadon’ green, approximating the color of celadon porcelain. This ‘celadon’ green is uniform throughout, giving a jelly ‘crystalline’ beauty to the all-round bangle.
With little need for direct/indirect light, the crystalline quality of this green jadeite is very apparent and shows up as if glowing.
The petite bangle is 7.2mm thick.
Of high quality even if not as thick as typical jade bangles (this could be what some prefer), this jadeite bangle is densely translucent. This means the color is solid (not dull) and translucent at the same time.
