22k teardrop earrings set with jadeite jade and old cut diamonds.
The jade has a lustre that sparkles, in a sought after apple green that is uniform and saturated.
The delicacy of this jade piece is in its size, where the diamonds are proportionately matched to the teardrop center.
The jade is 7mm and each stud is tallest at 1cm. Diamond studded jade earrings are not easy to find in a perfect form and size. Many modern pieces are too big while older pieces lack the intensity of green.
This is a ‘modern’ pair of Chinese jade earrings, with over 40 years of age. The pair is handmade with traditional screw-back ear posts.
