Vintage Natural Mens Large Ruby Ring

Fine large ruby ring set with an unheated 10.2ct ruby and accented with diamonds in 18k.

The large Mozambique ruby is an old stone, red with inclusions that do not affect its display.

One small part silky, but over all transparent and clear, this sizeable natural ruby is not easy to come by.

Whether in this ring or reset into a different design, the ruby is splendid for its uniform red saturation, and for having most of its weight on its face.

This is a vintage ring, photographed with its mild scratches. Once polished, it is a splendid piece in any collection, it is hard to get a large natural ruby with both color and significant clarity.

Its mid-century design is actually done well, with diamonds flushed set in its vintage (thicker) gold work.

This sturdiness makes a difference when there is a cluster of diamonds to mind in everyday movement.

Mostly, photos are surreal because the ruby’s red is a brighter tone than blood red (which tends to be a viscous red), but the stone lives up to these images.
