Fine emerald ring set with a 15ct Zambian emerald and accented with diamonds in 18k.
The emerald has minor oil, in a saturated green that is not too dark.
This is a statement ring, housing a natural stone in an organic design as a big stone can be.
There is nothing flashy about the ring as the diamonds are not big, flanking a double halo that is white and very suitable around the dark green stone.
But what appears to be dark is actually a bright green hue when light passes over, the stone appears intense in and out of light this way ie. not high extinction (hence loss of color).
Because the emerald is high carat, the eyes can appreciate the cut of the stone easily, artistically.
In a big ring the emerald cut emerald is surreal with its glass-like axes.
