Antique Ruby Pendant Earrings Set 20K Gold
An antique ruby pendant earrings set in 20k yellow gold.
This is jewellery from this region, set with old cut rubies from Burma, circa 1950s or earlier.
These high lustre old cut rubies are unevenly sized, meaning to set these into a shared bezel was a lot of tedious, tiny work. That is why modern gems must be calibrated, to allow for ‘one size fits all’ metalworking.
