Translucent Jade Cabochon Ring, Power Ring

The jade is very translucent and quite transparent, this attribute can be investigated since the back of the ring is built with a hinge opening.
The jade color can only be described as leaf green (sometimes money green), approximating the spectrum of imperial green jade, but without the neon green of imperial green.
That said, this tone of jade is unanimously desirable as it is a blend of green both deep and vivid.
Accentuated by the jade’s uniform quality, highly translucent and near flawless, this is a piece of jade’s perfection.
It is neither too dark nor too apple green. Photos show how the green develops when the ring is turned towards and away from light. All photos are taken with natural light. No other lamp is used.
The single outline of diamonds is flattering and subtle, flushed (flat) to the bezel, extending a little at the ring shoulder.
The cut of the jade cabochon, while nicely domed, does not let the ring become too feminine or chunky when worn on the finger, even though the ring is 2.5cm tall. A good cut jade cabochon in a jumbo ring is not usual.
The opening at the underside of the ring is for gemmology purpose as well as for personal enjoyment.
The ring spans 2.5cm by 2.5cm, a very refined proportion.
It has magnificent fashion sense, whether for a big rock or for a power ring. “Go big or go home” is not the sentiment here strictly, as the make of this ring is properly stylish, specifically, a well-proportioned cigar band ring.
