Fine chrysoberyl ring set with a 6.24ct cat’s eye chrysoberyl and accented with diamonds in 18k.
The Sri Lankan cat’s eye stone is yellowish brown.
The stone has a high level of transparency, hence the chatoyancy is ‘thicker’.
(Typically, stones with lower transparency will display a sharper line.)
This does not mean the ‘eye’ is not sharp, but that these type of stones are noted for their ever-present cat’s eye.
In or out of light, the cat’s eye displays visibly (the photo without is tilted to show the stone’s significant transparency).
This round cat’s eye stone is almost half a full sphere, meaning it is well-domed.
The round stone is bordered by diamonds in an oval halo, the ring feels drawn out tall (refined) while impressing on the stone’s roundness.
