Natural blue spinel weighing 20.2ct.
The Tanzanian spinel is blue with a cyan undertone.
This blue is very special, the color displays as if its tone has a high chroma.
This blue can also be described as an intense teal blue.
The inclusions too are special, appearing deftly like twinkle stars.
In the photos, these inclusions are captured starkly. In person the saturation is too intense to actually discern the inclusions.
This spinel has a wonderfully unique and rare color, the sky bounced off the lake in one stone.
The moment the eye picks this up the stone takes on a different meaning.
The stone measures 17 x 13.82 x 9.43 mm.
