Natural fancy deep brownish yellow diamond weighing 11.03ct.
The diamond is VS2 and eye clean, with an Asscher cut.
The fancy ‘deep’ color means the diamond when set will display a thoroughly saturated color, since the tone is even.
The value in an Asscher cut diamond is from its clarity, only diamonds with ultra lustre will benefit from the Asscher. The slight tints of color are rendered by the wide step cuts, almost as if color separation plates.
The Asscher also has the highest crown of all diamonds, designs able to exult a ‘flat’ surface will flourish, since the crown actually has weight to it where the face of the diamond can be perceived (especially from side profile).
