Fine emerald ring set with a Colombian emerald weighing 15.37ct in 18k.
The emerald cabochon is moderately oiled, with a great color and high dome.
The stone is so transparent that every inclusion shows, not much but there is no concealment in this cabochon.
Yet nothing could detract from its excellent color and cut.
The stone is set in a closed-back ring, but as a loose stone it is sufficiently splendid (observe the photo in the report).
There is a slight sugarloaf effect in the cabochon, its nose is subtle, discernible under the fingertip – this could be a fidget ring.
Prong set in a broad tapered band, the ring lives with no design or accent but for its stone.
The stone measures 15.81 x 14.36 x 10.45 mm.
The ring is US 11.25.
