Fine layered necklace beaded with Burmese corundum in 18k.
Burmese corundum is a gemmology distinguishing the special color of Burmese rubies and pink sapphires.
In the world of gems, there is no color that looks like Burmese corundum except Burmese corundum.

These are high quality Mogok beads, bright, clean and clear, gem grade beautiful.
Pierced with very fine holes, through their flattish ‘pebble’ form.
Interspersed with Burmese ruby and spinel rondelles, the ‘hopscotch’ effect gives a very different beaded necklace from one that is formed with beads of a single cut.
Unlike conventional bead necklaces, the asymmetry of un-faceted pebble beads look and feel old-world Fine, not accessory-like.
The larger beads are 7-8 mm long, the smallest are about 5-6mm.
Pulsing with color and rosary-like – the intention is to style a look that is antique-meets-modern.
The whole length is 54.5″, circling thrice to wear at 18″.
