Turquoise is a Persian stone, though its life in the history of yellow gold jewelry is often seen through the Hellenistic eye.

The large bezelled layout cannot escape the Greco classical reference, even if this turquoise necklace has bypassed a lot of historical ornamentation to stage a modern approach to turquoise and virgin gold (high karat gold).

Alone each stone is large, the largest centre stones measure 22mm by 17mm. Placed in line they do not overwhelm if you are used to wearing larger stones.
