Organic Large Jade Pendant

A fine pair of green and lavender jadeite jade carvings in the donut shape.

The green jade is a saturated apple green; the lavender jade is a translucent bold purple.

The ‘heart’ of bangle carvings, both form the core of a pair of high quality jade bangles.

Material from these parts are typically carved into some other components.

It is rare to NOT carve the core into something else. This pair of carvings were retained ‘as is’, an unusual pause.

For material with a full color spectrum, the core is just as, if not more regarded than its bangle carving.

Retained by its carver-owner for its notion of full color and thickness, this duo is highly valued, peculiar even.

Unless you source raw boulder/material from scratch, with a certain level of jade expertise, and cut with luck shining on your side, you are very unlikely to get full color core results.

Shaped into a ‘giant’ beveled disc, the donut is an organic form that preserves the intrinsic beauty of jade as part stone.

Add only silk for the simplest wear, though both carvings can be crafted into statement jewelry, or re-cut.

The lavender carving measures 56mm around and 12mm thick.

The green carving measures 52mm around and 12mm thick.
