Fine cabochon pendant set with a 37.64ct spessartite garnet and accented with diamonds in 18k.
The garnet is deep red with a high dome of 10mm.
Garnets make great pendants owing to their size and clarity, and if cabochon, we get a certain degree of plushness we cannot get from faceted stones.
This stone is like that, deep and dark away from light, but lava red in light’s vicinity.
The garnet has that rich quality of hidden beauty, showing when it does, its presence strong, subtle.
