Fine pearl earrings set with freshwater pearls, sapphires and demantoid garnets in 18k.
These are handmade and not cast; they are made in the traditional way antique jewelry was made.
Hence it is not surprising they look antique, the use of twin pearls is perhaps the modern-day touch.
The organic form of these twin pears swing under the asymmetry of the ribbons, though only slightly from a short drop of about 2cm.
The piercing green is the work of Russian demantoid garnets, a mere two stones on each ribbon will yield that power.
These earrings are ‘pretty in pink’ even if they are not wholly pink, the synergy of natural form in shell and feminine form in motif is enough to make a classic.
The pearls are made to wear with the large coral pendant, all ribboned out with the latter’s bow only symmetrical.
As a set these little treasures are dreamy because they rely on stone/shell first before deciding what to do with the rest of ‘design’, the outcome even better than perfect.
The earrings measure 23mm by 30mm, but they are really a short, sassy drop.
