Vintage Diamond Bracelet

Mid century or earlier Straits Chinese bracelet set with diamonds weighing 2.8ctw in 22k.

The diamonds are fiery and very white, 22 diamonds in all.

This is a solid, sturdy bracelet, its links built to the likes of a timepiece, perhaps a watch buddy.

The geometric centrepiece looks almost modern, flushed and streamlined between its watch strap chain.

The tailed circle motif is a swift stroke that makes an antique thing just different.

In both white stones and yellow gold, there is a wonderful golden glow.

Delicate at 8mm, with a solidly weighted centre, and links that glide.

These Straits bracelets are also well known for their hand built links, individually linked and wholly articulate.

This explains why no two bracelets are exactly alike and details vary copiously, even where they truly are a confederate of soft diamond bracelets.

Wearing one is a start; as a group they are never ornate, flowing one to the other.
